SRA is the NIH’s primary archive of high-throughput sequencing data. This data can have very large file sizes, so hosting them yourself can be difficult. Our SRA search allows you to use data from NIH without hosting it yourself
Currently apps including RNASeq and DeepVariant have this feature

- Open an app with SRA search
- Click the SRA Search button
- Enter an experiment ID of the experiment you want data from. You can find experiments on the NCBI website
- If the experiment has a BAM file associated with it you will be able to select the file for use by hitting “Select”
- Submit your app when you have set the rest of your parameters!
